OpenGiving was created by alumni from Babson University, Boston University, Olin College of Engineering, and Insper to make it easier for people to support one another.
We combine traditional crowdfunding with a peer-to-peer marketplace, so supporters can contribute through direct funds or by listing their own items for sale in support of your campaign. This gives your community more ways to support you.
It is completely free to launch a campaign on OpenGiving. There are no setup fees, and you will always have access to a real support team if you need guidance along the way. From shaping your story to setting your goal, we are here to lend a hand.
Launch Your Campaign in 3 Easy Steps
1. Set Up Your Campaign
Start with the essentials:
- Choose a campaign category
- Select your campaign location
- Write a short description of what you are raising for
- Set a fundraising goal that fits your needs
2. Add Photos
Upload a few photos to help people understand your campaign at a glance. Clear images help others better understand your campaign and why it matters.
3. Review and Launch
Take a final look at your campaign, then publish it when you are ready. Once live, you can share it with your network, post updates, and track your progress as support comes in.
